We have been retained by a well established and respected Architectural and Engineering practice to recruit a key member for their team. They have a strong client base including major developers, covering many interesting and prestigious projects throughout the South West and UK wide.

At one level your role will be to take full responsibility for the engineering function within the business covering:
Design of estate roads and Drainage / Sewerage
Design of estate layouts for housing and commercial projects 
Contractual Arrangements (I.E. Section 38 Agreements, Section 106 Agreements etc)
Liaison and negotiation with clients
A strong appreciation of architectural aspects of projects is also very important
Experience in the use of Autocad is essential as well as preferably Microdrainage and Site Developer.
They are flexible regarding qualifications ( Technician or Engineer levels ) as experience is of greater importance. 

Additionally, there is immediate opportunity to take on real management responsibility - for projects and staff. There is also the desire to find a dynamic individual able to prove themselves and step up to take on full management of the practise. As well as having strong technical and management ability you will need to demonstrate genuine ambition, hunger, and enthusiasm. This is not a sleepy provincial business!
