Immediate contract vacancy for Civil Design Engineer  (with at least 2 years experience through to newly chartered level ). Experienced in carrying out design, checking design calculations, and assessment on Highway Structures & Bridges and Reinforced Concrete (RC) Building Structures - ideally multi-storey car parks. Familiarity with LUSAS and/or Superstress beneficial or other similar packages.

Expected duration will be a minimum of 3 months and expected to run longer - possibly long term.

Working within a forward thinking Unitary Authority Engineering Design Team, that carries out the majority of design and assessment works in-house - thus offering an interesting and varied range of projects to get involved in.

Rate is negotiable though expected to be in the region of £15 to £20 per hour depending on experience.
