We have been retained by a well established group to recruit a key Senior Manager with responsibility for sales / business development and overseeing their future growth and development.   This is a highly rewarding role to drive and further develop this already successful company and offers significant potential for future development prospects. 

They are keen to hear from candidates with a strong track record of achieving significant sales growth, through developing business in the construction industry – or from ambitious candidates with the ability to do so and ambition to progress their career.  A construction / engineering background is required, potentially from a range of backgrounds, including: Fabricators, Manufacturers (for construction), Building or Civil Engineering Contractors, Civil or Structural Consulting Engineers.

This key management post is with an innovative and rapidly developing company. They supply in particular: structural steel - design, fabrication and erection to a wide variety of mid size and high profile construction projects. They count many leading contractors amongst their clients and have achieved significant growth, more than doubling turnover in the last 4 years.

The primary focus of the job is to lead the future growth and development of the company. You will have a hands on role in sales and marketing, bringing in new clients, and developing into profitable markets, as well as providing leadership to all staff to ensure this is achieved.

We are seeking a natural Leader who can quickly gain a thorough overview of the company, create a vision for future growth and development, and successfully carry out plans to high standards.

You will need to demonstrate skills or potential in the following areas:
Business Development / Sales & Marketing
Leadership Skills - managing teams
Organisation, strategy & planning
Decision making, Problem solving 
Financial control

You will be given a high degree of autonomy with the full support of the MD and Senior Management Team.

Excellent salary - designed to attract the best - expected in the region of £40,000 to £50,000 plus benefits (inc. Bonus, Pension, Life cover, Hols)
